    I do like seeing Denis in a Police uniform this time but I will always have a soft spot for Tommy Gavin. The movie clips looks fab.

    I was able to watch the trailer last night. Very cool. I like that they give Denis the ability to use his great sense of humor in the film.

    Will there be lots of premieres? Do you have to buy a million new gowns, or can you borrow them from the designers? Do you have to hire a stylist? Boy, I have a lot of questions. It’s just so damn exciting!

    re: the dinner table scene early in the clip. Denis’ mad voice scares me, yikes!

    I’m always fascinated by how much of a character is created and conveyed through voice. The tones and layers, volume and breath, speak to so many different emotions. We talk about eyes and hands a lot when describing others, and body language in general – but voice, wow, it’s a thing of great power and versatility, multi-storied, it’s own kind of poetry.

    I agree, the film looks phenomenal. And suspenseful!

    Ann, I’m thinking that The Amazing Spiderman definitely needs a Connecticut premiere, perhaps as a fund-raiser for the Leary Firefighters Foundation. We need to talk. Seriously. (The wheels in my head are already spinning….)

    Just saw “Two If By Sea” not long ago on t.v. Thought it was really cute and entertaining. I enjoyed it even more because of our blog connection. Looking forward to seeing “The Amazing Spiderman”. Excellent trailer. Miss Tommy Gavin also, especially since Gavin is my maiden name and there aren’t too many people with that last name. Good luck with the new movie. I am sure it will be a hit.

    hey ann… I hope the movie does better than the play…my son was the assistant mask and puppet coordinator (internship) for that show…lol good times!!!
